For Valentine’s
Day, I wanted to show my family I love them—by making pancakes with a Valentine
theme.
I used the
basic Bisquick recipe, but tweaked it slightly. Once the mixture was done, I
added it to a pastry bag and made heart shapes and xoxo’s. They were the perfect
size for Alex.
Of course,
we always use extra Vermont maple syrup on our pancakes (even though,
truth-be-told, I sometimes prefer Aunt
Jemima since that is what I grew up on).
Ingredients
2 cups of Original
Bisquick® mix
1 cup of
milk
2 eggs
½ cup of
sugar
A handful
of fresh raspberries
Zest from
about half of a lemon; cut lemon in half and squeeze fresh juice into mixture
DIRECTIONS
- Stir all ingredients until blended.
- Pour on a hot skillet.
