Sparklers

While we were in Maryland over Labor Day weekend, we had a BBQ, which led to pulling out the sparklers that Andy and I had at our wedding—they were our big send off at the end of the night (we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary over Labor Day).

  

Alex was fascinated and wanted to hold one himself—he is still a little too young to fully grasp the power of the sprinkler, so he held on with supervision.

Andy was able to snap some great shots of the sparklers though. I love them—I think they are so magical and beautiful and they were a great way to end our BBQ and our wedding eight years prior.
